This was made the same day as my earlier post 'Maple and Pines'. The light was gorgeous under a very light rain.

Preston,

You know I really like this one. Great combo with the ferns and burnt tree. I love the subtle, but clear reflected gold on the lower part of the charred trunk. No nits or suggestions, looks beautiful.

Its amazing how something that black would reflect so much color! I also love how the ferns almost seem to be cradling the burned trunk in a sense of trying to care for it. Nice.
