November 1st. in Yosemite was a day of gorgeous light. There was a heavy cloud cover and reflected light from the walls and the trees.

Lon and I had a nice time at this spot. This is the site of the old Lower River campground that was erased during the flood. It is gradually returning to a natural state.

Preston,

You know I love this one! Beautiful image. There's quite a soft and lovely glow to both the maple and the pine saplings. Excellent comp.

T'was a wonderful day in the light drizzle.

Outstanding photo Preston! The greens and yellows just pop! I love photographing Yosemite in the overcast wet environment and sorry I missed it this year. I think its just me but a few of the taller pines in the BG seem tilted CCW.
