This photo was taken last week at Bond Falls. This was the first time I've managed to stop at Bond falls in the fall during the peak colors. I was really surprised there were so few photographers at the falls. We spent four days traveling around the Upper Peninsula. A more detailed report on our travels can be found on my Blog

Thanks, Phil. I've only been to bond falls (and the UP) once, about 15 years ago. I definately need to get back there. I enjoyed reading about your trip. You have some good tips on your website for shooting the UP for anyone planning to head there.

The UP is spectacular in fall. I have never encountered many if any photographers in any of the midwest. It is both nice yet kinda sad as these are some great areas,
