Not sure either. I used to post here frequently but there seems to be very little interest.

Maybe people are doing more on Linked-In. I am a member of too many of those sites and wind up just deleting most of their messages now.

I wondered where everyone has been too. For me I just have not been out with the camera lately but have plans for a trip to the coast in October and maybe a trip in November also. Not sure else is.

I agree with Bruce... perhaps many of us just haven't been out much lately for one reason or another. Hopefully a cooler Fall will bring more activity.

Hello Ed,

If you will see.... I had some of the last few post and the people responding I talk to on a regular basis anyway. We shoot together, share ideas and have a blast. Don't really understand why others have no interest in sharing , work , ideas and techniques...

Between shooting a bunch, daughters soccer games, working on a new calendar, designing a new website and setting up a Fine Art Show for November 1st....College football is now taking a lot of my realxing time...... :toast: :toast:

We now live in a world with 10 times the means for communication ....but we communicate less..??/ :frown:

Maybe your spark will stark the fire of Fall splendor,

I will share so really cool stuff in the next week to get us going,

Harold

Great. It also seems we have a lot of visits to the posts so let's try to get some of our lurkers to start posting thoughts, reactions, images!

Would love to see more activity here. There's more to shooting in the SE than the mountains where Harold and I hang out. Where are you?

What is so striking to me is how many folks apparently have either nothing to say or lack the willingness to say it! By that I mean, look at the views/replies to all the posts and you'll see the vast majority of replies are in single digits no matter how many the views and in fact, most are less than 5. Seems like the only thing that can get people to post is when it's a Canon vs Nikon debate and those debates are unresolvable and actually meaningless anyway.

Richard, I am in Richmond, VA. I grew up in Knoxville and do a lot of shooting now in Shenandoah and the big mountain parks out west. I usually make it the Smokies once or twice a year for short trips.

John, your observation is the same as mine. We need to get "views" to become "comments"!
