Just had a friend share this one with me, I'd not seen this one until today. Truly an amazing journey and technological feat.

OMG - unbeliveably cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I keep thinking of the billion little things that could have gone wrong and scrapped the whole thing - but didn't!
An amazing feat by JPL and everyone else even remotely involved.

Fantastic Paul! Having worked in aerospace and on space programs (Hubble Telescope, Space Shuttle, Space Station, Delta II for AlliedSignal, Bendix Guidance Systems) I really loved the emotion everyone displayed at their success. My Dad worked on the Apollo program also at Bendix Guidance Systems way back when. I am not working in aerospace anymore but exciting and reminiscent non-the-less. Thanks for sharing.
