NASA is forecasting up to 100 Perseid meteors per hour. My experience "up to" gets people out there but usually is not that dramatic.
But this is one of the best shows around, especially when combined with the crescent moon near or between the alignment of Jupiter and Venus in the early morning sky.
Aldeberon, too, is a partner to the right of this scene.
NASA says anytime after 10 p.m. Best hours are early morning before sunrise, I guess.
Find a good location tonight and get up and out there. Good foreground really helps.
