GSMNP after the storm

This info was passed on to me to share from photographer Cindy Nowlin about the iconic cascade that trilliums bloom along:"The little cascade that get the trillium's by the water less than a half a mile from the Townsend Wye, is basically covered up with 4 or 5 downed trees. You cannot even see it." it remains to be seen what the park service will be able to get cleaned up as areas of the park suffered landslide type destruction and numerous tree falls. Cades Cove fared pretty well.
