The little blue Question Mark?

Since upgrading to OSX 7.3 on both my desktop Macs, there is that little blue box with the question mark in it on all images I view in the presentation galleries. I'm pretty sure it is the clear gif placed over the image itself to prevent dragging. Only started with the new OS. I tried all the available user agents in the Developer menu, but none are better. Any tips? Thanks.

This has been covered a few times in the past - try to do a search on here and see what you come up with

Yup, read that a few times since it was posted. I searched this site before posting this. I thought 7.3 did not include flash as a Safari plugin, so yesterday I downloaded it but no change to the blue box. I'm used to it now and my brain blocks it out, but I still wonder why it's there. Funny there are hardly any other Mac users here discussing this. I tried all the 'user agents' in the developer menu of Safari. no luck.

Jeffery:

As you can see from the previous discussions on this topic there are other Mac users, like me, who have already discussed this.

I had the blue ? problem, but only on my iPhone. That problem went away a while ago with an update to iOS.

I never had the problem on my PowerMac or PowerBook running Leopard 10.5.8, but I'd switched to FireFox and given up using Safari when it became too resource intensive for my G4 processors.

I'm now on an Intel iMac running Snow Leopard 10.6.8, ,still running Firefox, with no blue ? issues. I just checked with Safari 5.1.7 - no issues.

So, the question for you is: what happens when you use a browser other than Safari - do you still get the blue ?

Thanks for replying, Richard.

I believe the issue is particular to the latest Mac OS 10.7 and the latest Safari that came along with it. I do not see the ? in the latest Firefox I just downloaded. I'l probably never figure out the problem.

Fortunately this issue is resolved, but not sure why. Maybe an OSX update or something fixed on this site.
