Does anyone know of photo workshops being offered in Southern California?

Richard,

Just curious are you in So Cal? Or just planning on coming for a visit. Unfortunately I can't think of a local gallery that specializes in photography or sponsors workshops. I haven't spent allot of time searching out workshops but there are many places in Southern California that deserve some. I have spent many great days photographing in and around Southern California, but wouldn't qualify myself as a professional or even a knowledgeable amateur. But I can suggest some wonderful places that would provide some good opportunities for photography. In Bishop which isn't really Southern California the Mountain Light gallery that features Galen Rowell's work has several workshops that are in the E. Sierra and Death Valley. Run by professional photographer's. I wish you luck in finding a workshop and I'll keep my eye on this thread to see if any turn up.

If a personal workshop might interest you, try contacting Michael Gordon. Michael is an outstanding photographer, excellent instructor and a very fun guy to hang out with. He is based in Southern California.
