Anyone seen this yet? Could be a useful one come winter time and snow levels.

I don't know the answer to this, but thought I would see if anyone can guess. Where do you think the new webcam is installed?

My guess is atop the Yosemite Falls bus station building.

Where to you think it's mounted?

Hey Lon, I saw an article awhile back on this, but I do not recall exact details, so, I'm not sure where they've placed the additional cam.

Lon,

No expert on Yosemite, by any stretch but if I had to guess and I do. I vote for from South side drive across from Cathedral Rock a telephoto view. Guess based on the angle of the falls and the view through the pine trees.

I heard it is mounted on the Yosemite Lodge's Alder building, across from the front desk building.

I agree with Rodney. The angle is wrong for the cam being near Cathedral Rocks. If your assumption was true, Paul, the view of the falls would be from their left side, rather than face-on that shows in the cam image.

It looks like a nice, breezy day in The Valley, today!
