Got over there and had nice weather on Friday and Saturday. Little breeze, and high overcast on Saturday. Flowers seem to be on their way out, but there are still some decent specimens around.

Here's a late-day shot from on the Porter's Creek trail.

Anyone else have more shots from this spring? Let's see 'em!!!

Pretty. Is it a painted trillium? I didn't see any of those when I was there.

Yes'm... I believe it is a "painted" trillium. I saw a little bitty patch of them (maybe 6 or 8 of them) growing on top of a mossy rock - and they were mostly done. This one is already curling back on its way out. Only one of the group looked fresh, but I liked this composition better.

What did you get on your shoots, Alice? Post some... I'm trying to learn what's around here and where everyone went!

I'm posting some in the forums, keep a lookout. I'm still processing my images as I have time. I'm not as pleased as I wanted to be with the shots from Baxter Creek, but I have a few good ones. There were plenty of flowers there, it's a really great spot (Big Creek Area).
