That's an early opening. I wonder how much ice be on the higher lakes.

Yep, I suspected this would be an early year. Only about 40% of snow pack reported a few weeks back after the late spring storms we just had. After the bumper crop snow fall last year of around 160% this year has been worse then just a dry one.
