I'd like to know your opinion about the F-9 Wimberley Head Version II Bracket...I'd use it with the WH-200, 600 f/4 and 580EX.
I have done some research and I've seen that many pros use it, but I still don't understand well the which are the advantages (in respect to mounting the flash directly on the camera).
Thanks for your help!

I use it and love it. The main reason to use a flash bracket is to eliminate steel eye.

...and it keeps the flash properly positioned when you rotate the lens in the lens collar.
Hi Juza
As well as keeping the flash in position when you rotate the lens, you can add extensions to raise the flash higher. The increased separation between the axis of the lens and the flash significantly reduces retinal reflections (red eye or steel eye) with most birds and mammals (except owls). It also makes it much easier to take the camera off the lens quickly to add a teleconvertor (or remove one) as the camera body is unimpeded. One other small advantage I find is that I can wear a hat while shooting because the flash doesn't get in the way of the brim.

I have a couple of more pressing tools to buy first, but after your advices the flash braket is definitely in my "must buy" list ;-)
