I haven't been around this forum much the past few months - busy, enjoying life in other ways, and busy with the family.
I went out yesterday and found my first wildflower of the spring - quite early as it likely is with most of you. We've been in the 70s and 80s for most of the past week. Our *low* tonight is supposed to be ~60, which is 15 degrees higher than the average high!
While there are lots of domesticated flowers showing, this is the first wildflower that I've seen, and lots more are on the way.
Nice catch Tim! We've got several flowers blooming down here now, spring beauty, trillium, trout lily, and a few bluebells.
The red bud trees just started blooming this week. I've been wanting to get out and do some shooting, but this wind has just been horrible the last few days.
Glad to see you have some blooms happening. It is about par for this winter you post Spring wildflower, and Phil posts trees in snow. Also looks like a bug found the bloom.
Of course we have had the Skunk Cabbage out for a while. Yesterday while I was out picking up garbage along the road I noticed the Bloodroot was out. I seems to be about 3 weeks early this year.
