Welcome to the February 2012 Edition!
Our February Cover Image and Photo of the Month is of a colorful Oleander hawkmoth. The fascinating colors and patterns on the wings are complimented so nicely with the orange, out-of-focus background. Oh yeah, the photographer was Fabio Giarrizzo. Amazing image, Fabio, and congratulations!
Also, be sure to check out Jagdeep Rajput's Gallery of the Month. There is some truly inspiring wildlife photography to peruse in his impressive portfolio.
Our first article this month comes from Alain Briot. In They Are Stealing Our Work, Alain outlines some of the problems with online image piracy as well as some of the ways to protect yourself.
With Don't Be An Idiot, Guy Tal is not addressing me personally, but instead is advising us all against falling into the trap of approaching nature photography as a craft instead of an art.
Paul Faust reviews Silver Efex Pro 2 as well as several good photography books for reading this winter before spring arrives.
Thanks to all of our contributors. We could not do this without you. NPN members, please leave a comment if you feel moved to do so - either good or bad (if done politely).
