Wondering if fine art photographers really sell here? Any thoughts?

I tried it once several years ago. I listed 20 different images starting at what was basically cost and got no nibbles at all. After that I researched what was selling. You can do searches on completed auctions using the "Advanced Search" function. What was selling at the time was prints from famous photographers (Ansel Adams, etc.), nudes, and photos of celebrities. I haven't checked in the last 3-4 years. I don't know if it is different now.
Ebay frequently has 'free listing' periods. If you want to try it, watch for one of those periods and put up a few images. That way if nothing happens you aren't out anything.
