We've had a couple days of snow and no wind (which is very unusual for this part of MI). The snow has been piling up nicely and has settled on all the trees. Yesterday I decided to take the camera out for a bit and was in awe of the beauty all around. It seemed to be one of those days when you do more stopping to take in the view and shooting, than actual driving.

Nice image, looks like one of those days when it is just great to be out. We had a bit but it is pretty well gone now. There are a few more eagles showing up though. Hope springs eternal.

Nice shot. Looks like what we have now as well - wish I had time to grab my xc skis. Ours will mostly melt today with mid 40's.

Thanks. Our snow is melting today and the wind has come up again, so I'm glad I was able to get out this weekend and take advantage of this snowfall.

Beautiful Toni! Only snow we've seen down here has been in combination with high winds and cooler temps..
Waiting for a 30° day and some snow just like you have here!

Thanks, Derek! This area got about a foot of snow this past weekend, first decent snowfall of this winter. It's been quite a few years since the last time we had a nice "windless" snowfall such as this.
