It is with a great deal of pleasure and excitement that I get to announce that 2012 is really off to a grand start with the addition of Gary Yeoh, Ramamohan Pai, and Lorna Taylor to the Flora moderator staff. Gary, Ram and Lorna are all 2011 EPA winners and will bring a wealth and depth of insight and expertise to what is already the finest Flora gallery on the planet. When Pat Sampson came aboard to help me I felt like I was in seventh heaven so I'm not sure where this puts me. Lorna volunteered to help shortly after Pat resigned but I wanted to wait to add anyone until after the 2011 EPAs were announced as I thought Gary, Ram and Lorna were top candidates for the awards but staff members are not eligible for consideration. Well all three were indeed honored and now we have what should be by far the strongest moderator group in the history of the finest Flora gallery on the planet. And we really do have the planet covered with Gary in Hong Kong, Ram in Milwaukee by way of India, Lorna in Canada and me in Texas (hey, it's a whole nuther country y'all) . Please join me in welcoming them and thanking them for their participation and for taking on this great responsibility. >=))>
