I've used Smugmug for a year and it expires next month. I was wondering if Zenfolio has any benefits over Smugmug other than $50. I'm not knowledgeable in coding, but would like a little more ability to customize.
Thanks, in advance for any help.

I have looked pretty carefully at both. I think it is a"Ford vs Chevy" / "Nikon vs Canon" discussion

Robert, Zenfolio does not require any coding, per se. Sorry can't compare with Smugmug.

Zen is very easy to set up with many choices of templates and personal features, and has a free trial. It upgrades features often, and I've been 100% pleased with it.

Been on SmugMug for 5 years and have over 13,000 images on it. I used their standard templates until a few months ago. I used their sister site dgrin.com to apply a custom feature. I was surprised how easy it was to do. I then used quite a few more custom settings from them. I only wish I had made the leap 5 years ago! It is really quite easy. There is even a setting in SmugMug that saves all your current settings, so if you really mess up bad with the customizations from Dgrin, you can simply reset back to your last settings.
