Monitor for Photoshop PP

I'm contemplating getting a new monitor for my PP system. I haven't decided that I need one yet, so I thought I would ask what others are using. What I'm using now is a 19-inch Sony HX93 LCD which I am able to run at 1280 by 1024 at 32-bit color depth. It has a pitch of 0.294mm. It was a fairly expensive monitor that I bought on close-out two years ago. Is that adequate by today's standards or should I consider an upgrade? I really liked the old flat screen CRTs but you just can't find them any more.
