Hey there..I have not been very active posting or commenting at NPN (life and stuff gets in the way it seems) but I do visit regularly and hope to get active again soon....
In the meantime, just wanted to too my own horn as a photo of mine won the Grand Prize in the recent Canadian Geographic Wildlife photo competition.
The photo (of a mantis which has been in my gallery here) will be featured on a coin minted by the Royal Canadian Mint. (no details yet on what the coin will be).
Sort of a once-in-a-lifetime prize for me, and as I am also a coin collector it is just fantastic!
Anyway, many of you do not know (or remember me) but some of you might, so I just wanted to share my good news :)
...I actually had three photos win something...a fox shot won Runner Up in the Mammals category, and aGecko/Kid shot got honoroable mention in the Pets category).
Cheers!
Robert
