Inexpensive Underwater Camera opinions

Normally I shoot with a Nikon D7000 and a Nikon D70, which I will be bringing for above water shooting but I was looking to do some snorkeling in St. Thomas in January and wondered if anyone has had any opinion on either a disposable waterproof or just plain waterproof camera. I see that B & H has a Kodak that is getting some decent reviews for like $65. I could see buying that because if it leaked and I had to throw it out, I wouldn't mind so much but I also want to try to get some decent shots from it and this one has a flash and I was reading that a flash helps eliminate the blue hue on the fish and gives them a more true color rendition.
Any input?

While I haven't tried their line personally, I have heard good things about the Olympus underwater P&S. A friend took one up the Coppermine River. Twice. Got to be tough to survive that.

You'll need a cc30R red filter to eliminate the blue hue. Olympus does make some pretty inexpensive underwater camera/ housing systems that work well for the money.

You might look at www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=Snap+Sights+Underwater&N=0. I just picked one up at a garage sale and they appear to be well made especially for the price.

Good Luck,

I have looked at B & H and they are the ones that have several around $65. BUT I don't know which to get.

The one I referenced lists for $11.00 including film. Can be reused, or tossed.
