Snow on Skyline Drive today

There was 8 inches of snow at Big Meadows today. Skyline Drive was only open between Route 33 and Big Meadows (15 miles). There were still enough leaves on the trees to make for some unusual fall colors with snow images. Coming off the mountain the leaves were at peak at the bottom minus any snow. What a contrast !!
