I haven't been doing much local shooting these days, but here is an amazing sunset from the BRP on the 8th. Local was decent up high, but that was a week and a half ago.
I just returned from Maine this past weekend, headed to Atlanta to give a presentation to GNPA tomorrow night, and then the Smokies for about a week.
Be good!

Beautiful. How was your weather in Maine? I was there two weeks for a few days. I hadn't been for 15 years and was looking forward to shooting along the coast. Rained hard and steady for 4 out of 5 days! I got a couple of hours in here and there and ended up with 2-3 keepers but pretty disappointing overall.
Looking forward to your presentation tomorrow.

Beautiful Richard! Probably bump into you in the smokies. Hope your doing well. See you soon!
Great capture. I'm like you - not been home long enough to shoot fall color. Heading over to the Brevard NC area Saturday and am hoping the leaves are hanging on a few more days.
Truly Majestic! Always enjoy your shots Richard....as. you can see there will be a few of us raoming the countryside this weekend. Foothills Parkway for Sunrise Friday the 21st and then on to Cades Cove, Rich Mtn Road.....Tremont and who knows where after that. I will be following the color or weather. See you soon and thanks for your comments ...

Beautiful photo Richard.
Depending on how long you are in the Smokies I may see you. It will be the end of next week before I can make it up. Somewhere around the 27th or 28th.
Could someone glue some of those leaves on for me?
