We will be leaving Mid-Missouri for Lake Geneva, WI this Sunday and will be in Lake Geneva for 4 days. I'm open for any suggestions for shooting locs in the area. One day we will be going to Green Bay (GO PACKERS).

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

St. Louis canyon at starved Rock state Park is home to a 70 ft water fall. That would be worth looking at. It is just off 39 north. You can camp at the park or stay in the hotel.

Rock Cut state Park is just off rt 90. If has camping, 160 acre lake, and 3000 acres of trails and woods. The fall migration should be starting soon and the colors are already changing.

Both of the these are just off the main highway, in Illinois, and worth a visit. If you get to Rock Cut you can stop and by and say hi. I own the concession at the park. Fact anytime anyone from the Midwest group wants to stop I will cut them a deal on a meal and time on the water.

Thanks for the info Jim. We have been here since Sunday evening and so far it has rained every day and just totally screwed up our plans. I will keep the info for future use. I appreciate it.

Yes, between the wind and the rain it has been a tough week for getting outside. We have had gusts of 60 miles and hour and trees down all over the park. Typical Midwest unpredictable fall weather.
