Hi everyone,
I just moved to Green Bay, WI from Underhill, VT. I am interested mainly shoot landscapes. Would like some information on shooting landscapes in the area. Also interested in shooting more wildlife. Are there going to be any future photographic outings in the area? Looking forward to meeting fellow photographers in the area. I am a member of NEPN and look forward to be part of MWNP.

Wow, John. My sincere condolences!! :-). I recognize you from the NE section. I spent summers from 1969-1977 on a Bakersfield Dairy Farm and 3 full years as a Vermont Resident living in Bakersfield and Winooski. Attended VTC in Randolph Center for a year and UVM for a year. Had a GF who lived in Jeffersonvill and we spent many summer nights driving back and forth between Jeffersonville and Burlington (to go to movies, restaurants, etc.). In 2005, 2006 and 2010, I spent a week each in October in the areas and a couple long weekends in between in the summer months. Have long had an affinity for Vermont, so I regularly visit the NE section to see what is going on there. Am also a moderator on the Scenes of Vermont Forums and Photo Forum.
I live across Lake Michigan (and a fair way South) from you. Wisconsin is a beautiful state and in some ways (dairy farming for example) is very reminiscent of Vermont. I am sure you will like Green Bay (and you have a football team there much more worth rooting for than the Patriots :-) ). Hope you will find some kindred souls there in Wisconsin!

I had lived in VT for the past 13yrs. Know Jeffersonville and Rte 15 well. It is going to be fun finding new spots to photograph and new places to explore. I am originally from Indy and a had worked in Coldwater, MI. Like the Colts a lot better than the Patriots. My wife is a Lions fan. I remember you posting on the forums. If you are up this way give me call.
