What to do when it is 100+ degrees out?
The first week of June has been really hot. Earlier in the week the temperatures started rising. What to do? I hoped for a late spring blizzard but that didn't seem to forthcoming. I could stay home and photograph birds from my air conditioned living room but even the birds were saying in the woods where it was cooler. The other option, if you live in the upper Midwest, is to drive up to Lake Superior where it was 40 degrees cooler. I decided it was time for my spring road trip to lake Superior. I had planned on going a week later but the chance to cool off couldn't be ignored.

This is a shot of Bluefin Bay taken in early morning while the fog was moving in and out. I've been able to post a few more photos on my Blog.
