Hi

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on places to photograph nature photography in Northern Minnesota. We will especially be looking for wildlife (non captive)

I am leading a black bear photo tour. I know the area but you can never get enough leads.

My tour is next week

I will be landing at MSP airport and heading north into Northeastern Minnesota (Voyageur Country)and the bordering superior national forest.

Vince Shuttle Bear Sanctuary? Non captive, but feels a bit like a zoo. If you've never been there, you can arrange (for a fee) to spend the morning before they open to the public. I came away with some nice images, some close encounters, but always felt like I was cheating even though the bears are wild.

The nice thing about Ryan's suggestion is 2 fold: 1 you and your group will be 100% successful in capturing images of wild black bears and 2 you provide funds for a valuable program.
