I've been trying to scout the North Shore more than I have in recent years, and I've been pretty happy with the locations I've come across.

This is near the end of Knife River, just a short drive out of Duluth. The conditions weren't great, but I was bored and in need of getting outside.

This was shot using one of my favorite filters, the Lee Bigstopper for 122 seconds.

I will definitely revisit this spot, I have a lot of ideas.

Beautiful work Nate, I love the motion in the sky and the color in the water, this place does look like you could have a field day with it.

I can't wait to see more images from here !!!

Beautiful Nate--I'd might crop about 1/2 the water, but that's just me---really nice

Interesting shot Nate. Not familiar with the filter, but I'll look it up. Love the hues.

Interesting. I've never noticed it on all my trips to the north shore.
