Watching me work
Have been in the field working the ground ahead of the planter. This coyote was there all day came out of a grass waterway in the morning and stayed about 75-100 yards away the rest of the day. It would move off and watch me working closer and about the time I would get close enough to try a shot it would get up and move again. If it had just went back where it started it would have been fine but it stayed in the unworked ground. It finally let me get to 40 yards and I caught a few shots as I went by not many in focus hard to handhold in a running tractor.
Olympus E5 Sigma 50-500mm lens @1000mm eq 1/320 f9 ISO 1250 cropped about half.

Nice capture Kendell! I really like the light in it's eye, and the details in the fur
Have a safe planting season!

Nice capture. Still a little cold up here although they are starting to plant in the sandy areas.

Looks great Kendall! I'm impressed that you carry your camera with you on the tractor.

None of our local farmers have been able to get in the fields yet with all the rain we've had.

Wonderful catch, Kendall! He's not relaxed, yet he stayed, debating whether you are friend or foe, perhaps?
