I am looking for peoples' feed back regarding sites like Etsy, Artfire, and Art.com It seems like there are a lot of these sites out there and I am wondering what peoples' experiences have been selling at these places (or any other related ones).

Thanks so much! :wavey:

I tried Etsy a couple years ago, and sold zero in a year.

I've had minimal success with fineart america... minimal as in three prints and a note card this year.

I have heard some pretty scary stories about some of the more major stock agencies. Can`t remember the name off the top of my head but there is this one agency that give you a press type card but apparently then claim to not have sold any of your photo`s though they actually have.

Make sure that they have a valid street address and can actually be found at that address. Make sure that the person you are dealing with is not some Tom, Dick or Harry hiding behind an email address or a website. I`ve had the experience that you cannot find a real person behind some of these email addresses and websites. Make very very certain about that. You may even ask for their lawyer`s particulars and make sure that said lawyers actually exist and are of as goos standing as lawyers can be
