Wildflower Fashion Show - Share your BEST!
Ok Ladies and Gentlemen,

The last few times I have visited this forum I have had to wake myself up because nothing seems to be going on anymore. I can remember 15 months ago.... when you could not read all the Springtime post because there was so much going on. People having fun, exploring new places, sharing new shots and critiquing each others photos.

Since winter is gone and Spring is here lets start this year off with some color and elagence. Please share your "NEW" best stuff and lets all get some great ideas on new ways to shoot mother natures finest Fashion show!

The spotlight is on and the catwalk is ready. Send out your best and lets have some FUN!

Harold

I will start the show off with Springs Elegance from the Backside!!!

I agree Harold, the Southeast has so much to offer, this forum should be hopping. I took this a few weeks ago.

Thanks for the prompt Harold. I like your shy Trillium.

Here's one I shot this past Saturday. I was using a friends Canon 300mm L with an extension tube. This is handheld. I have never gotten a good handheld flower shot before. That's a nice lens!

I've also posted a couple others from Saturday in the Floral and Macro Galleries

Great images guys!! Not had much a chance to get out and shot, hopefully I'll have some time this weekend. The mountains are really putting on a show right now.

Not near as well done as the ones already posted but heres my contribution. I don't practice this type work near enough. I did like the subject though.

This is my first photo processed on the new computer and monitor (not Calibrated) with ungrade to CS5.

Man. Just pulled this up on the laptop and have to say it looks horrible, very flat, no color, basicly lifeless.
I'll have to get the monitor on the desktop calibrated somehow. (no calibration tools/software at this time)

That friend is making this image sing! I would crop down to near the top of the fern. This is one of the best trillium shots i have seen in a while.
