As some of you know, we travel for extended periods each spring and fall, usually in the Southwest.
In the past my NPN cap has spawned conversations with other photographers, several of whom have since become active members here at NPN. I've also met other members in remote locations simply because they recognized the cap.
This year that process stepped up a notch. The lightweight polypro jackets recently available on the group buy are the perfect weight for carrying in our daypacks, and always attract interest from other photographers when we don them early and late in the day. No guarantees, but I have a feeling we're even better ambassadors for NPN this year!

Anyone else have "recruitment" experiences?
I'm not the brightest bulb in the string, and my friends fight to confirm it, but what does FTF stand for?
I've talked up NPN to a few folks in the field who later became NPN members.
