I posted on the flora forum a request for shooting locations for Southern California Wildflowers. I post almost entirely on the Avian Gallery but would like to take a try at the wildflower landscape in Southern California.
Any sugguestions as to sites and timing?
Any input would be appreciated.

The Thomas Payne Nursery ( Entirely California Native species and cultivars ) has a website that in the spring has weekly Wildflower updates for all of California with an emphasis on Southern California. Wildflower season is upon us and should be stellar due to the above normal rainfall. 5" above normal here in the L.A. Basin with more due this week. I think it's the wildflower Hotline, it has links to other wildflower sites.
