Hope everyone had fun with the Winter Challenge! I enjoyed it!
Now.....anyone up for a Spring Challenge. I figure we have about 11 weeks in until the official start of summer. Anyone interested?
Second......the spring moose shoot. I've scouted out several areas accessible by foot with abundant moose sign and some deer sign as well.
For those who have canoes/kayaks, there is also the Umbagog National Wildlife Refuge in New Hampshire. We have additional kayaks here if people want to use them
The moose are stirring as evidenced by the two I saw along the road the other day. (Pictures to follow).
I'm proposing either the second or third weekend in May. Let me know your thoughts and if you would like to come so I can get info together on lodging, etc.

I've been to Umbagog, on Memorial Day weekend and saw a LOT of moose on my way up there, but not much while I was there. It was a great time to be there, though. I really like the area. That would be a nice trip. I am definitely up for a spring challenge!
