Richard, is there any criteria about what can actually fall under a "regional" image? I have been reluctant to post in this IC gallery, because most posts would fall just as easily into one of the other galleries. At the same time, I see people frequently double posting the same image in both a regional gallery and one of the regular galleries. Would you please clarify the rules, if any, on this, please?

Phil,
There are really no "rules" for the nature photos you can post in a regional group IC gallery. Generally, photos taken in the geographical area the group represents is preferable but not mandatory.
When you post a photo in a regional IC gallery, it will also appear in the All Photos gallery, which has site-wide exposure. However, if you wish to have the same photo considered for a Weekly Pick, you may also post it in the appropriate "main gallery." Currently, photos posted only in the regional IC galleries are not eligible for the WPs.

You can also find the gallery by using the Galleries drop down menu at the top of the page and choosing "Regional: SENP"
I just posted an image, who is next? Let's get this thing going!

I hope this clarifies it!
