Building a new home in VT has kept my camera in the bag this year. Just did the 11/1/10 thing and joined up! Posting this capture of a Puffin from Machias Seal Is. Like it?

Took me a moment to figure out just what was happening. Unusual perspective, good detail and interesting comp. Have to go to Machias some day. Welcome back!

Yes, Bob, that well-placed splash of color from the bird's beak really adds the greatest finishing touch! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Bob,

I hope you did not move away from that great hillside of spring wildflowers! Welcome back. Having just bought a house, doing a major renovation, and getting back to the cadence of never being done with the chores I understand what you have been through. Nice Puffin. . . Love the closeuo view and the fact I had to look at it a while to understand what it was!

Beautiful Puffin shot Bob, it's so different than the portraits I usually see. I've only been to Machais once, but I'm hoping for a return visit this spring.
