Ready for Fall in the Smokies!
I have been in the southwest for 3 weeks and I am headed home today. I was in Moab, the San Juans, and RMNP and it has been an incredible fall amongst the aspens. This is an image I took last week in the San Juans on an old dirt road out of Ridgway. I would have liked to have been able to include the entire evergreen tree on the bottom right, but there was a dead tree leaning out of the frame that was right up against the bottom of the tree and it basically ruined the image. I also have an image without the evergreen, but I like it better with it in the image. Looking forward to some time in the smokies now! Thanks for looking. C&C welcome. Thanks

Lovely shot. We were out that way 2 to 3 weeks ago ourselves. Hope you had as lovely time as we did when you were there.

I think keeping the evergreen in still works and provides some valuable contrast. Nice shot.
