After some lowlife stole my camera gear and my favourite warming polariser that Singh Ray no longer make.. :frown: ...I have had to buy new gear.

So

I have a rather heavy Mamiya 6x7 outfit and I am looking for a tripod to carry it, I DON'T want a Gitzo (Personally total ripoff, especially in Australia).

So I'm looking at a Berlebach timber tripod, Just not sure what model, so if anyone owns one and have a recommendation please fire away.

Of course I will look at other tripods as well so if you have any ideas go for it

Thanks

Keith, have a look at Giottos MT series tripods, they have a high load capability and are rather cheap here in Europe even the carbon version. I have the MT9170 aluminum an that thing is rock solid.
