Anyone been up to Linville Gorge, or Pisgah that can tell us about what's happening so far?

It's too early, wait a couple of weeks. I've been to Mt. Mitchell and up to Doughton Park.

Follow the fall color "sticky" thread. It's for color reports. Linville is relatively low, third week is usually about right. Pisgah area is going to "pop" in about 5-7 days from now, except Graveyard Fields which will go soon; color's already beginning there.
