I will be sending some image files to clients via FTP. Are there rules to follow regarding the image file names?
Must there be no spaces in the file name?
Is there a limit to the file name length?
Thanks,
Don

This will depend on your client's server setup, but my experience has been that any standard Windows file naming is also applicable when I FTP files. For some reason, I occasionally have issues with upper- vs. lower-case, so I make sure everything is transfered in all lower-case.

If the files are going to a Unix machine, I would keep everything in lower case and use dashes or underscores instead of spaces.
