FTP images to client on Windows computer

I have recently sent images for consideration by a client via FTP. I have a PC running the Windows XP Pro OS and was able to drag the files into the FTP software "To be Sent" folder. If someone is using another version of Windows, such as XP Home, Millenium, or 98, can they drag their files into the folder?

I've never used FTP directly from Windows. Truthfully, I didn't even know it was available. I've always used 3rd party FTP clients, like WS_FTP or SmartFTP (the one I use currently). I use this on both XP Home at home and XP Pro at work.
