These kinds of announcements are always so difficult.

I was informed today that NPN member Bruce Prater passed away last Saturday. Bruce was a regular contributor and participant on NPN - some of his posts can be found here and his online portfolio here.

Our sincere condolence to Bruce's family.

Rest in peace, our friend and fellow nature photographer.

Oh my gosh, this is terrible news. My sincerest condolences go out to Bruce's family. His contributions to NPN will be missed.

Bruce was a great photographer and an even greater man of God. He was a staunch competitor in the photo competition at our local County Fair and I will miss him. While we may miss him here, he is with the Father tonight singing joyous praises.

This is very sad news. I felt really bad looking back on Bruce's work because he displayed a
great artistic ability and interesting view of this world. We should all feel a sense of loss.

Jim,

Please send my condolences to his family. He was a spiritual man and always saw God in the world. I will miss our discussions.

He was a first class guy, and not all that old either. Nice to see that he achieved some recognition for his photograhy and an excellent reputation with those in his community.

Wow, this is sad news indeed. I'm sure he will will be missed by many, not just us at NPN. My condolences to his family.

I didn't know Bruce but I can relate to the loss. My sincere condolences to his friends and family.
