Every two years a show called "Northeast PA Regional Art" is held at four local venues. This biennial event is open to all media, and work is submitted from residents of some 25 counties of Northeast Pennsylvania, southern New York and a few New Jersey counties as well.
I guess I'm posting this as a "pat on the back" as I had three of my images selected for the show, but it is also an interesting way they conduct it, and it is well run, with good cash prizes, and full-color catalogues featuring ALL selected work are published.
The opening on October 23rd is a "progressive" opening, beginning at 2 p.m. at the University of Scranton's (my alma mater) Hope Horn Gallery, then moves to the Artists for Art (AFA) Gallery in downtown Scranton, then The Suraci Gallery at Marywood University, and concludes with awards at Keystone College's Linder Art Gallery.
Anyway, I wish I had thought of posting the "Call for Entries" earlier. I'm especially pleased that my "Praying for Salvation" (recently selected for a national exhibit and posted here) will be on display at the University of Scranton's Hope Horn Gallery (if my old classmates of 25 years ago only knew I'd be in the ART gallery!!). I'll post the other two accepted as well. Thanks for looking and reading my rambling post!
And one of my favorites, "Bejeweled" (a creek bed) will be at the Suraci Gallery of Marywood University. Thanks!!

Bill,
I never really stop in this forum as its very landscape oriented but thought I'd take a looksee and I'm glad I did. Beautiful images... I don't remember seeing the last two on NPN and I'm dumbfounded as to why they are some of your best work, the bottom shot in particular.

Hey Luke, was on my computer and saw your reply. Thank you once again!! I am 99% sure the "Cascade" photo I had posted on ES&S as it got very good comments, especially from Lon O. calling it one of the best cascade shots of its kind on NPN.
The last one is a personal favorite, so I appreciate you pointing that out as well. It was taken just in 2009, so it should have been posted here--I'll have to check, and post if not.
Again, appreciate all of your help and support!

Congratulations, Bill. You have some great images here. Thanks for sharing them. I really like Little Niagara and Bejeweled shows some great originality.
Good job.
