Hi everyone - I've been with ifp3 for a couple years now, and although they are fairly easy to set up and make changes to, there are some options I wish they had.
For those of you who have your own website - are you happy with the service and the way your website looks? Would you recommend the company to others? I would like to use someone who is linked with a professional printing service for customers ordering prints from my website.
Thanks for any suggestions or information. I've used smugmug in the past, and am currently using ifp3.

You'll get different stories from everyone
But I've been very happy with GoDaddy. Their customer service has been very helpful when I run into difficulties - which have always been my doing. I have had NO downtime due to GoDaddy's doing and their prices are very competitive. For cons, their website is a little difficult to navigate, but once you get the hang of it it's not so bad. I use Wordpress to manage my site, and have used themes from Graph Paper Press. The large user base for Wordpress means a lot of flexibility and user-based help, and plenty of "widgets" for altering and adding features to the site. Graph Paper Press makes some of the best Wordpress theme templates, and have been a pleasure to work with. Hope this helps!

I have an ifp3 site too. It's great, but there are definitely some options missing. Fine Art America is something you might like to look at. They have good exposure & they have loads of printing & framing options.

I use Hostmonster, I've been with them for 3 years now I think have 4 domains registered with them. The customer service has always been very good and I've been happy with the up time and general speed of my site hosted with them.
In terms of the look of my site, Hostmonster doesn't really have anything to do with that part of it, with the exception that they the most current server software running which means I'm not limited in terms of design options.

Marcy-
Smugmug will take care of your commerce, - customer orders, credit cards, printing, shipping, for you. You can choose one of two print labs. They are cheaper, faster, and better than some other on-line print labs I've used.
You can use your existing domain, use Smugmug's, or get a new one through Smugmug. They are associated with GoDaddy.
To set up your website, you can use their template and choose among a number of themes to create your own look and feel. I'm a complete imbecile when it comes to doing a website, but I managed with Smugmug.
I haven't used any others hosts but my guess is that others are good too.
