Just got back from the Smokies. I shot a ton of cascade / moving water stuff and it'll take me quite a while to go through it all but I played around with this one this afternoon, thought i'd throw it out there for you all to check out. I decided to go with a bit of a pano crop to incorporate and emphasize the detail in the surrounding rocks and greens. Thank you all for the comments and inspiration. :)
I really like the exposure and tone of this photo. I personally prefer intimate tight shots of falls myself. My eye is drawn away from the fall and to the rock on the left. I would be curious to see a shot with the rock cropped out. But at the same time it is a cool rock. I love the moss on it... Just random thoughts.
