David this is one of your better posts! I really like how you isolated the bud and I especially like the overhead light, very nice. There is quite a bit of noise in the dark BG you have here but for me the overall image is very nice! Well done, thanks for posting!

The more I look at this, the more I like it! You've made very nice use of the lighting, and I like the detail. I also like the square format you've chosen for the presentation. The only suggestion that I might have is to try cloning the three bright spots on the branch in the LL corner. Other than that, I really like this one. Thanks for posting!
