LeConte Creek in GSMNP
My wife and I were visiting my parents in Gatlinburg this weekend. We didn't get into the park at all until when we were leaving Sunday morning we took a short trip on the Roaring Fork Motor Trail. The road is still closed past Rainbow Falls trail head, but we did stop off at the Noah "Bud" Ogle cabin. There is a short nature trail that goes from the cabin down to LeConte Creek, which is the creek that flows over Rainbow Falls.

We found LeConte Creek to be beautiful with lush bright green moss covering rocks in the stream and on the banks. It really was this green! I took this shot while standing in the creek.

Canon 7D,Tamron 17-55 @26mm, f/6, 2.0 sec, ISO 100.

Beautiful shot. I was at Greenbrier a few weeks ago and I agree it is that GREEN there also.

Great stuff. I'm heading up there in July, I can't wait.

Very nice way to capture light and water flow.

Great shot Richard - I really like the light throughout the scene and you handled the brighter areas really well.
