best printing lab

A gallery just asked to buy six of my prints for a permanent collection. They want 20x30 watercolor giclee prints mounted on 1/4 foam core...they will do the framing. Any suggestions on the best lab to deal with that is a good balance of quality and value?

Thanks

Reed

We use H&H Color Labs for all of the commercial printing for our studio plus our art prints. Great folks and superb work, but you have to set up an account with them, etc. I'm betting they do over-the-counter retail print jobs too, but I don't know anything about that side of their business. Quality-wise, it's sure worth checking them out.

There are quite a few other companies that do really good work, so you shouldn't lack for additional suggestions.

I have been using Fine Print Imaging in Fort Collins, CO for almost 30 years. I believe they are the best that I know of. You will NOT be disappointed. Conrad Rowe

I've been using this company for years with perfect prints everytime.

I once had a 16" x 20" print damaged by the carrier. I emailed Mpix that day and I had a new print delivered the very next day with no questions asked and no charge.

thanks all...I went with Bay Photo because I use SmugMug to host my web site. Turned out they didn't offer what I needed through SmugMug, but I dealt with them directly...they were courteous, professional, offered me a 25% discount because it was my first order, sent test prints to I could double-check color correction and print resolution at the final print size (test prints were 12 x 30) and the final watercolor giclee's were gorgeous...they will get me repeat business.

Bay Photo is a class act. I use them a lot. Never asked for a test print, did they charge for that?
