Moth ID please
Sorry, I have not posted for a while, not even sure if I am doing this right. I think this is a moth, but what kind ?, I draw a blank. I do think he/she has very unusual markings spookie, but beautiful. I think it was sick when I photographed it. Not posting this as a technical photo, but curious about the ID. Thanks

Check out the Polyphemus Moth. (aka Cyclops) Think that might be the one.

Thanks for the ID Mike. Read up on it. This is a male. The eye spots are flashed at preditors to mimic the eyes of an owl for protection.
